Application:
Monomethylamine is used as an intermediate in the production of carbamate rubber chemicals, in cartridge explosives, and in oil field chemicals. In the pharmaceutical industry it is used in the production of ephedrine and theophylline. It is also used in the production of the pesticide metham sodium, and the solvent N-methylpyrrolidine (NMP).
